2023 Cass County Fair Cattle Jackpot
You will need to complete this form for EACH animal you are bringing.
Cattle Show will be Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 3 p.m. at the Cass County Fairgrounds, Virginia, IL.
PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE COMPLETING THE ENTRY FORM
*Exhibitors must be 21 years of age and younger by September 1, 2022 to show at the Cass County Fair Jackpot.
*Cattle will be shown off the trailer. There is also limited stalling space. Exhibitors must take all trash, bedding, and manure upon leaving. You put it down, you clean it up!
*Exhibitors are encouraged to bring generators as electricity is VERY limited. There is also limited wash rack availability.
*Check in will be from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. Thursday July 20th. Bring registration papers to check in.
*All exhibitors and livestock must be checked in by 1 p.m.
*Show will begin at 3 PM.
*This is an Illinois Beef Association Points Show for eligible members.
*Entry fee is $50.00 per head. Entry fee for showmanship is $5.00 per exhibitor. Entry fees must be paid either via Venmo @casscountyfair or in cash at check-in the day of the show. If using Venmo, please be specific in the memo who is the exhibitor(s). No checks will be accepted.
*Five animal minimum to make a breed or they will be shown as AOB.
*There will be cash payouts in classes and for the top 5 overall for both Steers and Heifers.

Reserve Grand Champion Heifer - $400
3rd Overall Heifer - $300
4th Overall Heifer - $200
5th Overall Heifer - $100
Grand Champion Steer - $500

*Showmanship classes:
-Novice - 8 yo and under
-Junior - 9-12 yo
-Senior - 13-16 yo
-Advanced - 17-21 yo
